Alexandra Harrison of Supporting Child Caregivers and Joel Sawady of Doctors for Global Health, both doctors at the Cambridge Health Alliance, are hosting an event to describe their work serving vulnerable children and families in El Salvador. Both organizations have been working in El Salvador and with other at-risk communities in collaboration with local institutions for more than 20 years, with considerable success and recognition.

Alexandra Harrison, M.D. is Associate Professor of Psychiatry Part-Time, Harvard Medical School, Training and Supervising Analyst at the Boston Psychoanalytic Society and Institute, and President and Co-Founder of Supporting Child Caregivers, Inc.

Joel Sawady, M.D. is a primary care physician at the Cambridge Health Alliance, faculty member at Harvard Medical School, and board member and Program Coordinator at Doctors for Global Health.
